These didn't appear yesterday because of a memory card mishap. We uploaded directly from my camera to Terry's computer (usually I don't up load directly from the camera) and when I came home and up loaded them to my computer some had disappeared. A search of the internet turned up a couple of recovery programs. One worked. Phew!

The dark filled in patches happened over the course of several days. Heavy equipment came in stripped the street down about six inches and then more equipment came in and filled it back in.
