These are an interesting example of the strange effect of a lack of IR filter and strange lighting. Rachel's shirt is bright green. The foliage in the lower background is dark green. Jesse's red shirt is a dark brown. The lighting is bright open blue sky filtered through a heavy layer of translucent green leaves. Go figure.

that is quite the odd effect. with all that sensitivity to IR you might be able to screw that dark orange filtre on and get some near-IR style B&Ws ;)
btw, the bokah on the 1st shot of rachel is spot on...
I do like the way that little lens acts wide, or close to, wide open. It appears to give a nice round solidity to the portraits made from across the table.
