| These are small sections of an 8 inch high 72 inch long print of the Annual Meeting of the Providence Rhode Island Motorcycle Club held in Roger Williams Park, May 1912. The dapper chap (in electronically added color with the mustache) is Irving Maxson my grandfather. In the top crop (about 3 1/2 inches of the whole length) the figures on my screen are about the size they are on the print. I haven't counted them but the sizing suggests around 200 bikes in attendance. The picture was taken by Wm. Mills - Sons, Providence RI. |

That is so very cool! Don't see the facial resemblance, but the motorcycle gene obviously runs in the family!
