Another good one. Any copyright infringements for publishing?

I assume that you're asking whether the Oregonian would object since this is a picture of their poster type advertisement covered with graffiti. My understanding (which could easily be terribly flawed) is that I'm clear if I sell a print of it since it's been modified by wind, rain and anonymous artists and is presented as a editorial object (of art?). If it were to be used commercially to advertise soap (or perhaps the continuing deterioration of the free press) then there would probably be issues. The exorbitant price I charged for its use could never offset the attorney's fees. I'd be living in the open air drawing in charcoal on the side streets of Portland, panhandling for change. "Can you spare 10c for a disposable camera?"
